Stages of the Award
The award is split into 3 stages. Get to know them:
01 Registration
01 Registration
To enroll your initiative, the form available on this website must be completed – under the "Register your initiative" button – divided into the following sections:
1) Context
- Tell us the context of your project. Briefly describe the reasons that led to the creation of your initiative, how it will solve problems for customers, simplify or innovate an existing process, in addition to the market context evaluated, the offer and the positioning of the main competitors for this construct.
Note: you can also share evidence of data relating to the start of the initiative.
2) Development
- How was the project strategy developed? Which areas were mobilized to build the initiative?
- Describe how the project was carried out from the beginning to the implementation, establishing - what were the main difficulties, challenges and learnings, in addition to explaining how the use of data was undertaken, whether for decision making, experimentation, tests, methodologies and/or participation of external consulting.
3) Results
- What are this initiative’s main results that can already be observed? What was the differential in relation to the competition, the impact on the customer, the market and for Itaú?
- Describe the results of this initiative: they can be financial, in customer satisfaction, in the reduction of complaints, in the mitigation of risks; and explain why this initiative is considered innovative.
- Note: You can share data evidence about the initiative. Only initiatives that have been implemented and that already display observable results, shown up to the month prior to the start of registration, will be accepted.
Important: always be simple. Remember that, in order to be increasingly "One Itaú", the understanding must be the same for everyone, including those who do not have technical knowledge on the subject – which also applies to evaluators. Avoid the use of acronyms and abbreviations.
4) Leadership and participants
- Up to 10 (ten) participants can be registered per initiative. After registration, it will not be possible to change the registration form, the project leadership and/or the participants of the initiative, except for reasons of dismissal or leaves. Initiatives registered having more than 10 (ten) participants will be disqualified.
02 Evaluation
02 Evaluation
The evaluation is composed of the phases of:
1) Evaluation by the EC:
Implemented since 2023, at this stage the initiatives are validated by committees composed of the Executive Committee and the People Consultancy of each department.
These committees may also register, change, join and/or eliminate initiatives, through nomination, within the 5 (five) categories of the Award.
2) Technical Bench:
1st Phase of Evaluation
Itaú's local partners (up to the superintendent level) evaluate, on an online platform, the initiatives, assigning scores to various items of our culture. The 5 (five) initiatives with the best evaluations in each category move on to the next phase.
2nd Phase of Evaluation:
Directors (except share holding partners) watch the exhibition videos of the initiatives in the short list. Then, the representatives of the initiatives answer any eventual questions. Through secret and individual voting, the 3 (three) best initiatives in each category are chosen and move on to the finals.
3rd Phase of Evaluation:
The evaluation group, composed of the Executive Committee, Pedro Moreira Salles, Roberto Setúbal and partners of the holding company, watch the exhibition videos of the finalist initiatives. Then, the representatives of the initiatives answer any questions. Through secret and individual ballot, the winners of each category are chosen.
